What You’ll Do
- Investigate and resolve denial accounts using knowledge of charge master, AS4, ICD-10, CPT coding, and EDI billing
- Review EOBs, reimbursement details, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws
- Work with third-party payers to resolve unpaid claims and demonstrate medical necessity
- Collaborate with HIM and PAS teams to address adverse benefit determinations
- Partner with other shared services departments to gather information quickly
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
What You Need
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare revenue cycle experience (billing, follow-up, or cash posting)
- 2+ years in health claims billing, insurance, or third-party contracts preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication with staff, patients, and insurance administrators
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and manage complex workflows
