What You’ll Do

  • Investigate and resolve denial accounts using knowledge of charge master, AS4, ICD-10, CPT coding, and EDI billing
  • Review EOBs, reimbursement details, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws
  • Work with third-party payers to resolve unpaid claims and demonstrate medical necessity
  • Collaborate with HIM and PAS teams to address adverse benefit determinations
  • Partner with other shared services departments to gather information quickly
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards

What You Need

  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare revenue cycle experience (billing, follow-up, or cash posting)
  • 2+ years in health claims billing, insurance, or third-party contracts preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with staff, patients, and insurance administrators
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and manage complex workflows
