What You’ll Do
- Provide customer service to healthcare contract clients
- Research and collect from Medi-Cal and contracted health insurance payers
- Review EOBs and remittance advice for accurate payments or denials
- Submit corrected claims or appeals and request adjustments when necessary
- Track payer trends and escalate discrepancies for resolution
What You Need
- Medi-Cal experience required
- EPIC experience preferred
- Knowledge of billing guidelines for facility/physician claims
- Familiarity with UB04 and HCFA forms
- Strong communication, time management, and detail orientation
- High school diploma or GED (some college preferred)
- 3+ years of billing, collections, or revenue cycle experience preferred
