Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Remote role available in 49 states (exclusions apply)
- Team assignment (Renewal Group or New Group) based on experience and organizational needs
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, amend, or restate self-funded and fully insured medical, dental, and vision plan documents
- Prepare Summaries of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs)
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to finalize benefit designs
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and COBRA regulations
- Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience writing plan documents for self-funded or fully insured benefit plans
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Insurance industry and benefits background required
Preferred
- Experience with medical, dental, and vision benefit terminology
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory issues (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Education
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required
Pay Range
$18.50 – $42.35 per hour (depending on experience, education, and geography)
Eligible for CVS Health bonuses, commissions, or short-term incentive programs.
