Charlie Health exists to change that. Our mission is to expand access to life-saving virtual intensive outpatient care (IOP), rooted in connection and tailored to people with complex needs.

Schedule

  • Full-time, remote role
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the utilization review process for a virtual IOP caseload
  • Complete pre-certifications, continued stay authorizations, and peer reviews with insurance providers
  • Partner with Admissions and Revenue teams to ensure a smooth client journey from intake to discharge
  • Troubleshoot complex cases in collaboration with managers and directors
  • Follow up on all outstanding authorizations and escalate barriers when necessary
  • Provide training to clinical teams on documentation best practices
  • Contribute specialized knowledge to cross-team consulting and mentorship
  • Support ongoing workflow improvements for efficiency and client success

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in a healthcare field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of utilization review experience in healthcare (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and consultative skills
  • Project management ability in fast-paced environments
  • Proven experience collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality in handling medical information

Pay & Benefits

  • Base compensation: $53,000–$70,000 annually
  • Target total cash (base + performance bonus): $58,000–$77,000 annually
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and more
