About the Role
As a part-time Care Admin Specialist, you’ll support admissions and clinical teams by ensuring the accuracy of patient data, transferring records between systems, and providing day-to-day administrative assistance. Your work will directly impact how quickly and effectively clients receive care.
Responsibilities
- Review and transfer patient data accurately between Salesforce and medical record systems
- Maintain organized, up-to-date patient charts and records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Enter and update patient information, resolving discrepancies quickly
- Provide administrative support to admissions and clinical teams, including scheduling and document preparation
- Adhere to HIPAA and compliance standards for data handling and confidentiality
- Collaborate with admissions, clinical, and administrative staff to support seamless care coordination
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to grow skills in care administration and compliance
Qualifications
- 1+ year of relevant administrative or healthcare experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, communications, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
- Commitment to confidentiality and compliance standards
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Sheets, and EMRs is a plus
