What You’ll Do
- Support the Controller in day-to-day operations and high-visibility projects
- Oversee financial reporting, including SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)
- Provide technical accounting guidance, with focus on ASC 606 revenue recognition in technology
- Conduct technical research on complex/non-routine transactions and prepare memos
- Manage external/internal audits and coordinate with third-party service providers
- Review general ledger entries, reconciliations, and disclosures for GAAP compliance
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements for reporting and controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights and analysis
- Stay current on changes in regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Active CPA license
- 3+ years of public audit experience (regional or Big Four)
- 3+ years of corporate accounting or finance experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including ASC 606 in technology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ERP experience (MS Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent)
- Financial reporting or consolidation system implementation experience
