What You’ll Do
- Receive and process appeal requests via phone, fax, email, and mail using multiple software tools
- Make outbound calls to collect additional case information
- Organize and track case data to support timely processing
- Generate acknowledgment letters and escalate cases to clinical teams
- Meet productivity and quality benchmarks while following regulatory timelines
What You Need
- High School Diploma required
- 2+ years of experience processing appeals preferred
- 3+ years working with health plans, managed care, or TPAs preferred
- Strong understanding of appeals process and utilization management
- Knowledge of HIPAA, regulatory, and accreditation standards
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
