BroadPath is seeking Patient & Member Care Specialists to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll provide support to members and patients by answering inbound and outbound calls, resolving inquiries, coordinating services, and ensuring every interaction is professional, accurate, and compassionate.

What You’ll Do

  • Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to support members and patients with inquiries, benefits, scheduling, and service coordination
  • Provide accurate information on health plan benefits, eligibility, and coverage
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm provider appointments
  • Process referrals, authorizations, prescription renewals, and other requests
  • Assist with claims, billing inquiries, and account updates
  • Verify eligibility and update system records in real time
  • Document all interactions in electronic systems (EMR or CRM tools)
  • Communicate with providers and internal teams via phone, email, or secure messaging
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality by following HIPAA and applicable privacy guidelines
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or supervisor

What You Need

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of call center customer service experience
  • 1+ year of healthcare or health insurance experience (member services, patient services, benefits support, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems while maintaining accuracy
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a private, designated workspace
  • Demonstrated stable work history with reliability and consistency
  • Commitment to a long-term role and career growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with appointment scheduling or benefits support
  • Familiarity with EMR or CRM systems (EPIC, Facets, etc.)
  • Knowledge of medical or insurance terminology
