- Some travel required for meetings and team leadership responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Supervise daily operations of a liability claims office
- Ensure staff compliance with Liability Best Practices and company policies
- Lead, coach, and evaluate claims staff for peak performance and retention
- Manage workflow, staffing levels, and team development strategies
- Oversee review and settlement of high-dollar or complex claims
- Collaborate on developing and implementing claim practices and procedures
- Promote operational efficiency through continuous process improvement
- Represent CorVel professionally with clients, partners, and stakeholders
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
- 6+ years of comprehensive liability claims administration experience
- 2–4 years of recent supervisory or management experience
- Knowledge of liability claims administration, jurisdictional statutes, and procedures
- Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to manage negotiations and presentations
- Ability to multitask under time constraints and maintain professionalism in high-pressure environments
- Technical proficiency with standard computer applications
