What You’ll Do
- Maintain and optimize Charlie Health’s WordPress platform and subdomains
- Execute structured content updates (ACF-based), plugin maintenance, and templated workflows
- Support A/B testing via VWO (setup, QA, reporting)
- Monitor and maintain tracking tools (GA4, Osano, VWO) and validate data integrity
- Consolidate documentation for tracking specs, workflows, and development standards
- QA UTM and tracking data, implementing lightweight automation for validation
- Assist in programmatic SEO rollout, templating, and QA
- Use LLM tools to refactor legacy codebases and improve performance, maintainability, and scalability
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual processes and technical debt
What You Need
- 1–3 years of WordPress theme development or related experience
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
- Familiarity with WordPress theme structure, ACF, multisite environments, WP Engine (or similar hosts)
- Experience with analytics/tracking tools (GA4, Osano, Freshpaint, or similar)
- Experience with A/B testing platforms (VWO preferred)
- Ability to read, troubleshoot, and modernize legacy codebases with modern dev tools and LLMs
- Strong QA, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Self-starter with ability to manage structured content updates and plugin maintenance
- Bonus: Experience with performance optimization (Lighthouse audits, lazy loading, caching) and automation tools
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $79,000 – $100,000/year
- Target total cash compensation: $83,000 – $105,000/year (including performance bonus)
- Eligible for stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits
