What You’ll Do
- Develop social media strategies to promote PETA’s campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Substack, and more.
- Build and manage relationships with media influencers and news creators.
- Track PETA mentions and industry trends to find engagement and outreach opportunities.
- Draft pitches, talking points, and campaign communications.
- Manage influencer outreach projects, assets, and analytics to completion.
- Represent PETA’s campaigns to influencers, media, and the public with professionalism.
What You Need
- Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of professional social media experience with proven results.
- Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Substack best practices.
- Strong writing, organizational, and PR skills.
- Experience with tools like Sprout Social, Muck Rack, Dash Hudson, Upfluence, or Sprinklr.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Commitment to a healthy vegan lifestyle and support for PETA’s mission.
