What You’ll Do

  • Perform administrative and clerical support for claims and leave-of-absence processing.
  • Copy, establish, and maintain claims files.
  • Review and route incoming documents for accurate handling.
  • Manage departmental documents, reports, and data analysis.
  • Print, mail, and manually update correspondence.
  • Monitor and respond to group email boxes.
  • Conduct outreach to providers and members (phone, email, fax) for outstanding information.
  • Document activities and expenses in claim systems.
  • Assist with faxing, emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Complete assigned special projects and other related duties.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of related work experience (or equivalent combination of education/experience).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with clerical procedures, office systems, and terminology.
  • Knowledge of absence management industry a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $40,000 – $50,000 (based on experience, education, and location).
