Note: This role requires meeting CRS eligibility:
- Reside or work in Pennsylvania
- 18+ months of continuous personal recovery experience
- High school diploma/GED (or military discharge documentation)
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered support for non-clinical needs
- Assist with pharmacy prescription fills and insurance prior authorizations
- Reschedule visits and coordinate care with external providers
- Collect required documentation for care coordination
- Follow established protocols while using good judgment to remove care barriers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Enrollment, Financial, Clinical, Tech)
- Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance and confidentiality
- Problem-solve issues related to prescriptions and insurance authorizations
- Work across multiple communication channels (calls, messages, texts, Slack)
- Uphold Ophelia’s cultural values: champion patients, communicate with kindness, learn and share freely, and deliver results
Requirements
- Meets CRS criteria above or already CRS-certified
- Experience delivering excellent customer or patient support, preferably in healthcare
- Skilled in de-escalation and empathetic communication with vulnerable populations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Tech-savvy, comfortable with multiple platforms and remote work tools
- High integrity, accountability, and bias for action

- $45,000–$48,000 salary range
