About Pat Quinn / Great Assistant
This role is being posted by Great Assistant (www.greatassistant.com) on behalf of Pat Quinn, President of Ideas Unlimited Seminars, Inc., StoryLinq, and Cedar Springs Camp. Pat is a professional speaker, speaking coach, and software creator with over 25 years in business. He also runs a non-profit camp serving 1,400 inner-city kids annually. Family and faith are at the heart of his work, and this role will help ensure his businesses, non-profit, and personal commitments run smoothly.
Schedule
- 15–20 hours per week
- Must be available between 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm CT a few days a week (ideally Tuesday–Thursday)
- Remaining hours are flexible
- 1099 contractor position
- Long-term role (3+ years)
- Must pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Manage four email inboxes and coordinate daily schedules for Pat and his spouse
- Prepare daily schedules and key details in advance
- Conduct afternoon check-ins to review emails and project updates
- Communicate with customers, stakeholders, partners, and other contacts
- Process invoices and manage credit card categorization
- Curate and organize content
- Provide personal support to Pat’s spouse, including reminders and scheduling
- Assist with social media initiatives as needed
- Support seasonal administrative tasks for the non-profit camp
- Provide light tech support and manage tools across multiple businesses
Requirements
- Highly competent, proactive, and self-directed
- Friendly, positive, and solutions-focused
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools
- Able to handle sensitive matters with discretion
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable to shifting priorities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, YouTube
- Social media coordination
- Light tech troubleshooting
