Role Summary
As a Care Advocate, you’ll be the frontline resource for Maven members—connecting them to the right care, providing resources, and ensuring they have a seamless experience. This role blends personalized care navigation, patient education, and cross-team coordination. You’ll work closely with the Care Delivery team to help members overcome barriers, understand their benefits, and feel supported at every step.
Shifts Available
- Sun–Thu: 3:00 pm–11:30 pm ET
- Sun–Thu: 11:00 am–7:30 pm ET
- Tue–Sat: 3:00 pm–11:30 pm ET
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a high volume of introductory video appointments with members
- Answer questions about Maven’s platform and recommend relevant programs or resources
- Coordinate care access across Maven’s provider network and escalate concerns when necessary
- Educate members on program benefits, services, and health resources
- Work cross-functionally with Care Delivery, Customer Support, Product, and Provider teams
- Anticipate and address social determinants of health impacting member care
- Document interactions, close the loop on outstanding tasks, and maintain accurate records
- Participate in projects that improve member experience and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Background in allied health, human services, or healthcare
- 1–2+ years of direct patient care or digital health experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to change
- Empathy and excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Track record of meeting engagement, satisfaction, and productivity KPIs
- Comfortable navigating multiple technology platforms in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in family planning, maternal-child health, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, adoption, or surrogacy
- Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, CRM platforms, EHRs, and Zendesk
- Certification or licensure in a healthcare-related field
- Spanish or French fluency
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $55,000–$60,000/year
