Schedule
- Full-time, fully remote position
- Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm EST
- Annual salary: $69,000
Responsibilities
- Oversee the administrative functions of the Insurance department
- Produce and review reports to ensure operational efficiency
- Coach, train, and develop staff to meet performance goals
- Create and maintain incentive programs and contests to boost productivity
- Motivate staff to consistently achieve daily collection targets
- Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members
- Conduct monthly quality reviews to ensure compliance with policies and workflows
- Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce errors and improve reimbursement rates
- Communicate department status and improvement initiatives to the billing manager
- Manage team inventory and respond to client emails and required reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in healthcare insurance collections; supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities with proven success motivating teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze reports, identify trends, and implement solutions
- Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to company policies
