Schedule
- Full-time, remote position
- Monday–Friday schedule with collaborative work alongside franchise partners, payers, and internal teams
Responsibilities
- Review patient files for accuracy, audit claims, and ensure all revenue opportunities are captured
- Submit primary and secondary billing to payers via paper and clearinghouse systems
- Communicate with franchise partners and internal departments regarding order intake status
- Document case activity, communications, and follow-ups in the system
- Verify benefits for pharmacy and medical third-party claims
- Obtain and track prior authorizations, ensuring timely responses to avoid therapy delays
- Communicate financial obligations to patients before therapy begins
- Contribute billing expertise to training, policies, and procedures for the RCM team
- Process online adjudication for collection issues and nurse billing as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing, or collections preferred
- 0–2 years of intake or healthcare experience
- Coding course certification highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills with patients, caregivers, and payer representatives
- Knowledge of billing and collection processes across all payer types
- Strong organizational skills and recordkeeping abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and pharmacy applications
