🧾 About the Role
Join Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, as an Associate Clinical Administrative Coordinator and help connect patients, providers, and healthcare resources. This role supports referrals, prior authorizations, and member inquiries—all while working 100% remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
✅ Position Highlights
• Pay: $16.00 – $27.69 per hour (based on experience & location)
• Employment Type: Full-time, Day Shift
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST; occasional overtime as needed

📋 What You’ll Own
• Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and clinical teams to manage service requests
• Process incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues from members and providers
• Complete intake, notification, and census roles as needed
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• 1+ year referrals or utilization management experience
• 1+ year customer service experience with problem-solving focus
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with flexibility for any 8-hour shift within business hours
