Versant Health—one of the nation’s leading managed vision care providers—is seeking a Customer Service Representative II to deliver exceptional service to members, providers, and client representatives. In this role, you’ll handle benefit inquiries, resolve issues, and serve as a knowledgeable advocate for high-profile clients, all while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
✅ Position Highlights
• Pay rate: $18.50/hour
• Full-time position with union employment status
• Monday–Friday training schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST

📋 What You’ll Own
• Answer inbound calls from members and providers with professionalism and courtesy
• Provide accurate benefit information, including in/out-of-network details and plan allowances
• Resolve requests efficiently while meeting quality and service standards (96%+ quality score)
• Cross-train in multiple service disciplines to support team coverage
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, procedures, and policy changes
• Participate in required training programs and skill development initiatives
• Support higher-level service functions as opportunities become available
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of related customer service experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
• Preferred: experience in insurance, healthcare, or vision care industries

• Reliable high-speed internet and home office setup (if working virtually)
• Ability to attend virtual training during scheduled hours
