BroadPath is hiring an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join its Utilization Management team. In this fully remote role, you’ll conduct medical necessity reviews, coordinate authorizations, and ensure healthcare services are used appropriately according to established guidelines. You’ll collaborate with providers, members, and internal teams to deliver timely, accurate utilization management decisions.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Perform prospective, concurrent, and retrospective reviews for medical necessity and care appropriateness
• Apply criteria such as MCG or InterQual to assess clinical documentation
• Process prior authorization requests and determine level of care
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated reviews
• Communicate determinations promptly and professionally to providers and members
• Maintain accurate documentation of reviews, determinations, and communications
• Escalate non-criteria cases to appropriate reviewers
• Ensure compliance with NCQA, CMS, and state-specific guidelines
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and audits
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Active and unrestricted LVN license in an eNLC state with multistate privileges
• 3+ years of nursing experience
• 1+ years of utilization management experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, UM guidelines, and documentation standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare systems/EMRs
• Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
