BroadPath is hiring remote Prior Authorization Specialists to manage inbound calls and faxes from members, doctors’ offices, and other departments regarding prescribed medications. You’ll verify eligibility, guide callers through coverage options, process prior authorization requests, and provide timely status updates—all while working from home with a supportive, connected remote team culture.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Verify eligibility and coverage for prescribed medications
• Assist callers in determining covered alternatives for non-covered prescriptions
• Build and process prior authorization requests
• Provide timely updates on request status to providers and members
• Review documentation, interpret information, and accurately enter data into systems
• Communicate with healthcare providers for follow-up information
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 1+ years of healthcare, claims, or medical administrative work experience
• 2+ years of customer service or call center experience
• 1+ years of continuous recent employment with a single employer
• Strong knowledge of medical and healthcare terminology
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable hardwired internet (25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload)
• Your own 19″+ monitor with VGA or HDMI, USB wired mouse, ethernet cable, and optional USB keyboard
