📍 About the Role
Nira Medical is hiring a detail-driven and self-motivated Billing Specialist to support our Infusion & Revenue Cycle Management department. You’ll be the engine behind clean claim submissions and revenue accuracy for physician services—including infusion drugs, imaging, and other ancillaries.
✅ What You’ll Be Doing
• 📤 Proactively submit third-party payer claims (primary and secondary)
• 💸 Track and help hit monthly, quarterly, and annual collection goals
• 📈 Support accurate, compliant claim creation through quality assurance reviews
• 🕵️♀️ Investigate and resolve incomplete or incorrect billing issues
• 🔍 Spot trends and escalate patterns of noncompliance
• 🧭 Use tools like payer policy portals and electronic submission systems to speed up reimbursement
• 📑 Collaborate with the team to ensure revenue cycle excellence
• 🧩 Other duties as needed to support billing success
📌 Qualifications
• 🎓 High school diploma or GED required
• 💉 Prior experience in a physician office or with infusion drug billing highly preferred
• 💬 Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• 🧠 Strong problem-solving and prioritization abilities
• ⏱ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• 🖥 Familiarity with electronic billing platforms and payer portals
