💡 About the Role
Fetch Pet Insurance is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Claims Adjuster to join their remote team. In this role, you’ll work behind the scenes to help pet parents get reimbursed for their furry family members’ care. Using your veterinary background, you’ll analyze records, verify claims, and ensure policyholders get the support they deserve—quickly and fairly.
This isn’t just data entry. It’s compassionate work rooted in animal health, medical knowledge, and problem-solving.
📋 What You’ll Own
• Review and adjudicate pet insurance claims
• Assess medical records, labs, invoices, and forms to determine eligibility
• Verify claims coverage based on policy terms and conditions
• Consult with veterinary providers to gather required documentation
• Process payment determinations in compliance with company standards
• Maintain high levels of quality assurance and productivity
• Flag process improvements and help refine internal systems
🎯 Must-Have Traits & Qualifications
• 5+ years as a veterinary technician (required)
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and disease processes
• Ability to interpret vet records and distinguish chronic vs. acute conditions
• Bachelor’s in Veterinary Science or CVT preferred
• Property & Casualty Adjuster license preferred (or willingness to complete)
• Problem-solving mindset and comfort with complex claims
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote setting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
