Prompt is changing the face of healthcare tech—streamlining operations for rehab therapy clinics and modernizing every step of the process. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll be part of the revenue cycle management (RCM) team ensuring providers get paid accurately and on time.
Your mission: own the billing and collections process across multiple payers, clear out claim denials, follow through on unpaid balances, and maintain revenue integrity—all while staying compliant with state and federal regulations.

đź“Ś Key Responsibilities
• Resubmit corrected claims per payer-specific guidelines
• Review and revise denied claims for reprocessing
• Track and follow up on primary and secondary claims
• File appeals with supporting documentation to secure reimbursement
• Recommend adjustments or write-offs on accounts
• Flag billing discrepancies and trends to management
• Send out monthly patient statements with clear documentation
🎯 What You Bring
• 1–3 years of experience in medical billing and collections
• Solid understanding of payer guidelines and appeal workflows
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Experience with physical therapy EMR software (a plus)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability
