🧾 About the Role
Thyme Care is reimagining cancer care for the modern age. We believe no one should navigate a cancer diagnosis alone. As a Clinical Social Worker, you’ll offer emotional and psychosocial support to patients and caregivers—virtually—through phone, video, text, and our proprietary care platform. You’ll be a vital part of our virtual care team, helping patients manage distress, access resources, and feel seen in the moments that matter most.

• Full-time role, Monday–Friday (11:30AM–8:00PM EST shift)
• Remote across the U.S. or hybrid if near Nashville, TN or New York City
• Base salary: $92,000 (with flexibility depending on experience/level)

📋 What You’ll Do
• Conduct psychosocial assessments to support patients’ emotional well-being
• Address issues including anxiety, depression, financial stress, role changes, and end-of-life concerns
• Offer crisis intervention, brief therapy, and support group facilitation
• Coordinate with oncologists, nurses, behavioral health specialists, and caregivers to ensure cohesive care
• Advocate for patients within healthcare systems, insurers, and service providers
• Identify and connect members with appropriate resources and support programs
• Educate patients and families through one-on-one support or group sessions
🎯 What You Bring
• Master’s in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program
• Licensed (e.g., LCSW, LISW) in your state of residence; willingness to obtain licenses in other states
• At least 3–5 years of experience in oncology, hospice, palliative care, or serious illness support
• Certification as OSW-C or APHSW-C is a plus
• Comfortable working remotely and using digital tools (video conferencing, Slack, Google Suite, EHR)
• Excellent listener, emotionally grounded, and action-oriented
• Prior startup or tech-forward healthcare experience is a bonus
