Symetra is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the West Region Stop Loss Benefits team. In this client-facing role, you’ll manage new and renewal business while partnering closely with sales, underwriting, and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on proactive relationship-building, strategic account management, and seamless onboarding.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Manage service and customer needs for assigned accounts
• Own the renewal process to retain active, profitable clients
• Handle onboarding and installation of new accounts
• Respond to inquiries and address client concerns proactively
• Lead account reporting, documentation, and system updates
• Partner with the RFP team for seamless quoting and proposals
• Conduct product demonstrations and portal walk-throughs
• Support internal process improvements and special projects
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma required (college degree preferred)
• 3+ years of relevant experience in account or client management
• Resident Life/Health license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
