AmeriHealth Caritas is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to support the grievance and appeals process for our members. As a remote team member, you’ll ensure that every complaint or issue is properly documented, communicated, and addressed — helping millions access better care and support.


🔎 Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist members and their representatives with filing complaints and grievances
  • Document and escalate issues in accordance with state, federal, and NCQA regulations
  • Accurately log cases in the system and assign to grievance coordinators
  • Prepare case summaries and assist with State Fair Hearings as needed
  • Maintain compliance with documentation standards
  • Communicate findings with discretion and professionalism
  • Stay current on policies, benefits, and grievance processes

✅ What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years in managed care or healthcare customer service preferred
  • Experience with grievance/appeals processes a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
