🧾 About the Role
Kaplan is hiring a Customer Engagement Manager (CEM) to strengthen client relationships and drive account retention and growth within our mid-tier supplemental education portfolio. You’ll serve as the strategic partner to sales leadership—identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, tracking account health, and cultivating long-term client success through strategic planning and proactive engagement.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Manage retention and growth strategies for a portfolio of mid-revenue accounts
• Act as the primary contact and trusted partner for account stakeholders
• Lead strategic engagement planning with tailored goals per account tier
• Partner with sales leadership to build and execute account growth plans
• Monitor account performance, flag risks, and drive continuous improvement
• Identify and act on upsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Leverage customer feedback, CRM, and LMS data to improve engagement
• Collaborate cross-functionally across departments to deliver value at scale
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Bachelor’s degree (or Associate’s + 4 years relevant experience)
• 2+ years in customer success, account management, or program management
• Experience managing large account portfolios
• Strong process management and presentation skills
• Analytical mindset with strategic execution chops
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment
