🧾 About the Role
Rent the Runway is transforming how we get dressed with the world’s first “Closet in the Cloud.” As a part-time Customer Experience Associate, you’ll be at the heart of that transformation—delivering the iconic “Cinderella Experience” to our customers through empathy, precision, and flair across all digital support channels.
✅ Position Highlights
• $16/hr (non-negotiable)
• Part-Time (20 hrs/week avg, flexes 15–29 hrs based on season)
• Remote — but only open to residents of: MA, CO, OR, TX, IL, AZ, FL, VA, TN, KS
• Mandatory 4-week virtual training (M–F, 9:30AM–4PM EST) begins August 11
• Multiple shift options post-training (see below)
• Laptop and headset provided
📋 What You’ll Own
• Deliver high-touch service across chat, phone, SMS, social, and email
• Guide customers on styling, product fit, subscription perks, and policies
• Resolve issues with patience and creativity while meeting metrics
• Report trends and customer feedback to help RTR continuously improve
• Embrace and embody RTR’s mission of sustainable, accessible fashion
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 2+ years in a customer-focused role
• Detail-oriented, empathetic, and adaptable under pressure
• Comfortable with multitasking and context-switching
• Strong communicator and active listener
• Coachable and resilient with a problem-solver’s mindset
• Tech-savvy with Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, and online platforms
💻 Remote Requirements
• Must reside in an eligible U.S. state
• Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 10Mbps via cable/fiber)
• Quiet home workspace suitable for customer support

• Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri – 2pm–7pm EST
• Sun–Wed – 9am–2pm EST
• Wed–Sat – 9am–2pm EST
