Ferrellgas is hiring a Remote Accounts Receivable Support Specialist to manage unapplied funds, overpayments, and account reconciliations with precision and professionalism. You’ll work closely with customers to ensure accurate payment resolution while supporting our budget billing communication process. This is an ideal role for someone detail-oriented with a background in accounting and a commitment to excellent service.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Investigate and resolve unapplied funds, misapplied payments, and overpayments
• Handle customer correspondence related to payment issues and budget bill plans
• Respond to billing and reconciliation inquiries with clarity and efficiency
• Use internal tools (e.g., budget bill calculator, Salesforce, PeopleSoft) to research and resolve issues
• Document and troubleshoot customer concerns related to AR
• Provide outbound communication to explain budget bill changes
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer care
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Associate degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
• 1+ year of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized
• Salesforce and/or PeopleSoft experience preferred
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
