Natera is hiring a detail-focused Insurance Payment Poster to join its remote Revenue Cycle team. In this temp-to-hire role, you’ll be responsible for processing insurance payments with accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality. You’ll play a key part in ensuring timely reconciliation, compliance with cash control policies, and error-free documentation—directly supporting the financial operations behind groundbreaking diagnostics.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Accurately post payments and transactions for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors
• Review and interpret EOBs to assign proper payment, denial, and remark codes
• Complete batch posting with a minimum 98% accuracy
• Reconcile cash batches in alignment with department controls
• Identify missing or inconsistent remittance information and escalate as needed
• Handle Protected Health Information (PHI) with strict compliance to HIPAA and security protocols
• Assist with audits, SOP updates, and new hire training when needed
• Maintain active standing with all internal training requirements, especially those related to PHI handling
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of healthcare insurance billing experience, including knowledge of plan types (HMO/PPO/POS/Indemnity)
• 1+ year of accounting or reconciliation experience
• Familiarity with CPT codes, ICD-10, and medical terminology
• Strong data entry and 10-key proficiency (subject to testing)
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets
• Organized, self-directed, and results-oriented
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or marketing (preferred but not required)
