Natera is looking for a detail-oriented Insurance Payment Poster to join their remote billing team. In this temp-to-hire position, you’ll be responsible for accurately posting payments, denials, and adjustments from various payors. • Pay: $17.19–$21.49/hr (based on experience and location)

• Department: Revenue Cycle Operations
• Focus: Insurance billing, payment posting, accuracy and compliance
📋 What You’ll Own
• Post payments, denials, and adjustments to billing systems for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers
• Reconcile cash batches and support departmental cash control policies
• Interpret EOBs to apply accurate denial and remark codes
• Complete payment batch postings with 98%+ accuracy
• Identify missing or inconsistent payment data and escalate when needed
• Assist with internal/external audits and maintain SOPs
• Support new hire and refresher training as needed
• Handle Protected Health Information (PHI) according to HIPAA regulations
• Stay up to date on required compliance, security, and privacy training
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years’ experience in healthcare billing with working knowledge of insurance plans (HMO, PPO, POS, Indemnity)
• 1+ year of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field (preferred)
• Strong 10-key and data entry skills (testing may apply)
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and medical terminology
• Organized, analytical, and able to maintain confidentiality
