Henry Ford Health is hiring a full-time remote Claims Processing Assistant to support oncology billing operations. You’ll prepare, review, and submit insurance claims, resolve billing issues, and communicate with payers and patients. This is a Monday–Friday, daytime role supporting a high-impact oncology department.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Prepare and submit insurance claims to third-party payers
• Review claims for accuracy, including CPT/ICD coding
• Investigate and resolve claim denials or rejections
• Respond to complex inquiries from patients, payers, and physicians
• Recommend improvements based on billing trends and reports
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant healthcare billing or administrative role
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage time independently in a remote setting
📜 Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with oncology billing, authorizations, and insurance workflows
• Previous experience with CPT and ICD codes

• Based in the U.S. with eligibility to work remotely
