Exeter Finance is looking for a full-time Specialty Agent to support key operational functions tied to sensitive customer account situations—such as Cease & Desist notices, Voluntary Surrender, Deceased accounts, and Bankruptcy Dismissals. You’ll process, validate, and manage these cases while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Process accounts flagged as Cease/Desist, Deceased, Voluntary Surrender, etc.
• Review and respond to specialty calls with professionalism and accuracy
• Ensure account coding and protection is handled correctly
• Retrieve and review supporting documentation
• Handle vendor validation and skip tracing when needed
• Assist other departments as needed
• Maintain regulatory and procedural compliance on all assigned cases
• Deliver service that meets quality and SLA standards
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of call center or servicing experience
• Working knowledge of FDCPA and general collections policies
• Familiarity with specialty account processes preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality
• Comfortable navigating Microsoft Word and Excel
• Adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
