🧾 About the Role
Nira Medical is seeking a full-time Collections and Payments Specialist to support the financial health of its Infusion & Revenue Cycle Management department. In this role, you’ll lead third-party and patient collections, resolve disputes, manage appeals, and ensure timely payment of past due health insurance claims. This is a key role in supporting Nira’s best-in-class patient care platform by ensuring cash flow accuracy and operational compliance.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Perform proactive collections efforts on past due health insurance claims
• Follow up with third-party payors and patients to secure timely payment
• Investigate and resolve disputed claims
• Assist with appeals, compliance verification, and payment reconciliation
• Track progress toward cash collection and A/R goals
• Identify compliance concerns or payment pattern issues and escalate when needed
• Negotiate payment plans and credit extensions when appropriate
• Support additional tasks as needed within the RCM team
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Prior experience in a physician office or infusion drug setting strongly preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and solve problems independently
• Comfort using multiple software platforms for billing, collections, and documentation
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance standards
