Help at Home is hiring a Cash Application Specialist within its Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. This full-time remote position is responsible for applying payments accurately, maintaining clean accounts receivable records, and supporting month-end close processes. π What Youβll Own
β’ Accurately post incoming payments (ACH, Lockbox, Credit Card)
β’ Reconcile complex payment entries and resolve discrepancies
β’ Retrieve remittance info from payer websites
β’ Organize and store payment documents and update payment logs
β’ Follow up on unapplied payments and assist with aging resolution
β’ Contribute to month-end close procedures
β’ Serve as backup for additional A/R functions as needed
π― Must-Have Traits
β’ 1β2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
β’ Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
β’ High attention to detail and organizational skills
β’ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or on a team
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Excel
β’ Clear written and verbal communication
β’ Able to meet deadlines and maintain data accuracy
β’ Adaptable to changing processes and able to maintain confidentiality
