Your main focus: keeping appointment books full, ensuring patients follow through with treatment plans, and helping the practice hit its daily goals. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Schedule Management: Keep the hygiene department’s appointment book full and efficient
• Patient Outreach: Contact patients to schedule cleanings and follow-up dental treatments
• Treatment Completion: Make sure patients understand their plans and stick to them
• Insurance Coordination: Verify benefits and eligibility to prep for accurate cost estimates
• Cost Discussions: Work with Accounts and Insurance to provide accurate patient pricing
• Calendar Recovery: Fill last-minute cancellations and adjust the schedule as needed
• Case Follow-Up: Coordinate with the back office and dental lab for pending cases
• Recordkeeping: Maintain detailed, accurate notes of patient communication
🎯 What You Bring
• 1+ year of experience in dental patient coordination or practice management
• Understanding of dental treatments, terms, and patient workflows
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software (a plus)
• Strong phone presence, with the stamina to manage ongoing calls
• Fluent, clear English communication skills
• Fast learner who can think on their feet and adapt quickly
• Precision with details, scheduling, and patient communication
• Professional, upbeat, and ethically grounded approach
