CrewBloom is looking for a detail-driven Medical Biller to support a client’s healthcare team. In this role, you’ll handle insurance claims, patient billing, and payment reconciliation with accuracy and professionalism. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance providers
• Generate patient invoices and follow up on outstanding balances
• Verify insurance eligibility and pre-authorizations
• Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
• Post and reconcile payments received
• Handle denial management and appeals
• Answer patient billing inquiries and set up payment plans
• Keep detailed, accurate records of billing activities
• Maintain full HIPAA compliance and billing standards
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or equivalent (certification in billing/coding preferred)
• At least 1 year of medical billing experience
• Working knowledge of billing platforms (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
• Comfortable with medical codes and claim processing procedures
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on solutions
• Proven team player with the ability to collaborate across departments

• 15 Mbps minimum (primary)

• Backup must function during power outages
