📋 What You’ll Own
• Handle professional billing and AR tasks with accuracy and speed
• Manage denial and appeal workflows to ensure timely follow-ups
• Review, track, and report payer denials and documentation requests
• Maintain denial and claim-edit tracking tools
• Collaborate with payer relations teams and billing leadership
• Analyze denial trends, escalate global payer issues, and support improvement efforts
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines, HIPAA, and internal policy
• Coordinate denial materials and metrics for committee review
• Train end users and support Epic denial workflows as needed
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 5+ years in healthcare billing, revenue cycle, or AR (hospital/clinic setting)
• Proficiency in Epic PB Resolute
• Deep understanding of managed care billing, Medicare/Medicaid rules, and EOB interpretation
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CCI edits, and revenue codes
• Familiarity with EDI transaction sets (especially 837P and 835)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong Excel/database skills + high attention to detail
• Ability to build trust with payer reps and internal stakeholders
💻 Remote Requirements
• Strong technical setup for database and spreadsheet applications
• Self-starter with proactive communication and project-tracking skills
• Certification in Epic PB Resolute (or willingness to complete within 12 months)
