📋 What You’ll Own
• Code multi-specialty outpatient encounters (clinic, ED, radiology, rehab, labs, etc.)
• Apply ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes with 95%+ accuracy
• Use E/M leveling for OP/ED visits (1995, 1997, and 2022 guidelines)
• Work within a 5-day turnaround time from assignment
• Follow site-specific guidelines and compliance standards
• Use 3M Encoder and E/M calculators proficiently
• Maintain credentialing and participate in quality reviews
🎯 Must-Have Traits & Experience
• At least 2 years of VA or federal outpatient coding experience
• Current certified coder or auditor credentials
• Productivity of at least 10 outpatient encounters per hour
• Familiarity with E/M levels and clinical documentation best practices
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, reimbursement methods, and health record content
• Secure, organized home office for remote work
