🧾 About the Role
Brooks is seeking energetic and empathetic Customer Service Specialists—known internally as Runner Experience Specialists—to join the team during the peak season. From emails and phone calls to social media and chat, you’ll be the heartbeat of customer connection, delivering support with clarity, care, and a passion for movement. This role runs from August 18, 2025 to January 16, 2026.


Position Highlights
• 💰 Pay:
 – $21.50/hr (within 35 miles of Seattle)
 – $18.50/hr (all other U.S. locations)
• 🕐 Temporary Full-Time: Aug 18, 2025 – Jan 16, 2026
• 📅 Virtual Training: August 18–22, Mon–Fri, 8AM–5PM PT
• 🏠 Remote: 100% Remote (U.S.-based only)
• 📆 Schedule: 6AM–5PM PT, Sun–Fri + some holidays

📋 What You’ll Own
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, text, and social media
• Act as a Brooks product expert and brand ambassador
• Provide order assistance: tracking, returns, edits, troubleshooting, etc.
• Log contact reasons and identify trends for continuous improvement
• Assist in resolving escalated concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Collaborate across departments to support runners and retail partners
• Help fulfill orders when automation fails
• Spot potential fraud and escalate appropriately
• Stay flexible and energized in a fast-paced support environment


🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Available 40 hrs/week through full seasonal term
• 1+ year customer service experience or equivalent
• Associates degree preferred
• Typing speed: 60 wpm; strong grammar/spelling
• Computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook, social media
• Positive attitude under pressure with excellent time management
• Quick learner across multiple systems and tools
• Problem-solver who connects the dots and communicates clearly
• Passion for runners, fitness culture, and the Brooks brand
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
