📋 What You’ll Own
• Coordinate scheduling, diagnostics, pre-certs, and follow-ups
• Communicate directly with patients, providers, and cross-functional teams
• Monitor patient records, documentation, and insurance approvals
• Track billing questions, pre-authorizations, and appeals
• Maintain patient records in electronic health systems (NextGen preferred)
• Support providers and practice managers with admin functions
• Assist front desk and phone coverage as needed
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 2–4 years of medical office experience (surgical preferred)
• Skilled in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent customer service, communication, and multitasking
• Familiar with medical terminology and billing processes
• High School diploma required; Associate’s or Medical Assistant training preferred
• MA certification a plus
