As a Prior Authorization Specialist I, you’ll play a vital role supporting patients, providers, and insurance companies to ensure timely access to specialty medications. • Pay Range: $16.13 – $18.97/hour
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: 8-hour shift between 8 AM – 7 PM (Monday–Friday)
• Remote: Yes – Work from anywhere in the U.S.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Respond to inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals
• Contact doctors to gather necessary information for prior authorizations
• Manage assigned workflow queues efficiently
• Accurately document information and set up prescription orders
• Ensure complete and up-to-date patient records including demographics, allergies, and insurance details
• Collaborate across departments to support prior authorization processes
• Comply with all federal/state regulations and uphold Lumicera’s high ethical standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED (Some college preferred)
• CPhT preferred
• Pharmacy technician license or trainee license strongly preferred (as required by state)
• 2+ years of pharmacy support or healthcare environment experience preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills
• Availability to work variable shifts within the department’s hours of operation
• Commitment to compliance and ethical standards
• Ability to collaborate and communicate respectfully with a diverse team
