We’re hiring a Prior Authorization Specialist I to join our growing team. In this remote role, you’ll be the key link between prescribers, insurance providers, and patients—helping ensure that prior authorizations are processed smoothly, efficiently, and with the highest ethical standards.
✅ Position Highlights
• $16.13 – $18.97/hour
• Full-time
• 100% Remote (U.S. only)
• Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday–Friday between 8 AM–7 PM CST

📋 What You’ll Own
• Answer inbound calls from patients, providers, and healthcare professionals
• Contact doctors to gather necessary prior authorization information
• Manage workflow queues and process documentation with accuracy
• Maintain up-to-date records on patient demographics, insurance, and medication history
• Assist with any related duties across the facility as needed
• Uphold legal and ethical standards in all interactions
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED (some college preferred)
• 2+ years of pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred
• Pharmacy Technician License or Trainee License (required in licensing states)
• National CPhT certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Respectful, cooperative, and dependable team player
