As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll be the backbone of our revenue cycle—reworking denied claims, chasing down payments, and making sure every line item counts. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Correct and resubmit denied or rejected claims per payer guidelines
• Analyze first-pass rejections to reduce future errors
• Follow up on primary/secondary billing claims for assigned insurance plans
• Review and reprocess appeals with thorough documentation
• Flag accounts for write-offs or adjustments, balancing revenue goals and compliance
• Identify billing issues and trends, and escalate to management
• Generate and mail monthly patient balance statements in line with EOBs

📚 Experience Requirements
• 1–3 years in medical insurance billing/collections (required)
• Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace + MS Office
• Experience with PT/rehab EMRs preferred
• Background in handling appeals, A/R follow-ups, and payer trends
• Comfort with a fast-paced, digital-first RCM environment
