📋 What You’ll Own
• Manage A/R tasks including denials, follow-ups, and claim submissions
• Investigate and resolve claim rejections with minimal supervision
• Submit corrected/replacement claims and appeals via payer portals or fax
• Monitor payer trends and report denial issues to leadership
• Make outbound calls to insurance companies to resolve billing issues
• Assist with audits, documentation, and reporting as needed
• Update patient data and account statuses with accuracy
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and internal confidentiality standards
• Provide administrative support to your team lead as needed

📚 Required Background
• High school diploma or equivalent (medical billing certification preferred)
• Knowledge of A/R, revenue cycle, denials, and medical coding (CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10)
• Experience using billing software (Mod Med/EMA is a plus)
• At least 1–2 years in a similar A/R or medical billing role preferred
