Revecore is hiring a Remote VA Claims Specialist to support hospitals by resolving claims tied to Veteransā Affairs, ChampVA, and Tricare. Youāll file, follow up, and close out claimsāall while making a real impact in the lives of patients and the providers who serve them. š§ Experience Level: 1+ year in a professional office setting; health insurance billing preferred
š What Youāll Own:
ā¢ Investigate and resolve claims related to Veteransā Affairs, ChampVA, and Tricare
ā¢ File UB04s and 1500 HCFA forms with subrogation details
ā¢ Follow up on unresolved claims and notify clients of action items
ā¢ Close and return claims with proper documentation and denial procedures
ā¢ Maintain account notes in AcciClaim and respond to correspondence
ā¢ Assist with onboarding new hires and participate in continued training
ā¢ Complete reports (e.g., aged reports, worklists, denial audits) and special projects
š§ Must-Have Traits:
ā¢ Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
ā¢ Strong written and verbal communication skills
ā¢ Detail-focused with strong time management and prioritization skills
ā¢ Ability to communicate professionally with patients, attorneys, and payers
ā¢ Experience with coordination of benefits and subrogation is a plus
ā¢ Self-motivated, organized, and reliable under minimal supervision
ā¢ High school diploma required
