A Brief Overview
Responsible for providing consistent, high-quality customer care and service excellence to our employees. The HR Advisor will serve as a subject matter expert assisting and facilitating employee and leader inquiries and requests that are received via phone HR Portal, email, chat, and other access channels. The HR Advisor will use case management tools to respond to and track employee and leader inquiries using HR experience and knowledge.
What you will do
- First point of contact for internal customer inquiries, resolving 80-90% of inquiries before initial contact is concluded. Provide compassionate, empathetic care for internal customers expressed through sensitive listening and responding, understanding, support, and patience.
- Ability to explain information in terms internal customers understand and utilize knowledgebase and HR experience to interpret needs and resolve issues.
- Help internal customers navigate through Tier 0 (direct portal access) materials and functionality.
- Triage inquiries to ensure full understanding and engage appropriate subject-matter-experts to drive resolution when necessary.
- Manage situations which require adaptation of response or extensive research.
- Demonstrate broad HR, benefits, recruitment, talent development, and payroll knowledge, providing our internal customers with relevant information, policy explanation, procedures, and navigation support.
- Maintain ownership of internal customer inquiries until resolved to internal customer’s satisfaction, Log all interactions and ensure proper documentation of inquiries and resolutions.
- Ability to learn and actively seek out knowledge in a self-guided, keyword driven and document heavy knowledgebase.
- Assist with outbound calls, process improvement, support work, knowledge base improvement suggestions, and peer coaching.
- Provides feedback and recommended updates / changes related to content management and customer experience.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- 1-3 years Human Resources experience
- General knowledge and understanding of Human Resources policies, processes, and employment laws
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 4-6 years Human Resources experience
- Experience in Human Resources processes such as payroll, benefits, recruitment, talent development/performance
