Compensation Range: $35 – 41 per hour
Our client is seeking a Sr. Digital Content Specialist to create engaging, high-quality content across various digital platforms. You will adapt content for both short and long formats, apply SEO best practices, and use data insights to optimize performance. Collaboration with creative, legal, and client teams is essential, as well as presenting ideas confidently and responding constructively to feedback. Strong proofreading skills and the ability to manage projects autonomously are key to ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with campaign objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Creative thinker and skilled writer capable of generating original ideas, ideally with experience partnering with art directors.
- Strong command of grammar, style, and research, with journalistic instincts for interviewing and fact-finding.
- Able to interpret and communicate complex information, such as nutritional research, through various content formats.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and adapt to various projects.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Develop engaging, high-quality content across diverse digital touchpoints, adapting style to short and long forms.
- Apply SEO best practices to enhance visibility, continually staying up-to-date on evolving SEO trends.
- Leverage data insights to optimize and refine content for improved performance.
- Understand overall campaign objectives and contribute distinctive content that aligns with and supports campaign goals. Collaborate with creative, legal, client teams, and other departments to enhance content effectiveness.
- Present ideas confidently to teams and clients, contributing strategically and responding to feedback constructively. Work autonomously to manage assignments, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Exhibit proofreading solid skills to ensure content accuracy and polish.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in journalism or marketing communications.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of writing experience, preferably in an advertising or marketing agency setting. Experience with digital content creation and familiarity with digital products is a plus.
