How Will You Contribute to the Company?
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will partner with marketing and sales to drive phone-based lead generation, appointment setting, lead qualification and sales support to the Sales team. This position requires heavy strategic outbound phone calling, qualification, consultative selling skills and tight collaboration with the Sales Reps to generate new clients. The SDR will be expected to manage a lead pipeline, report on qualification and call activity and stay thoroughly informed on all products. They must have the maturity, confidence, and willingness, to roll up their sleeves and work directly with the Sales team and various other departments. Sales Development Representatives are vital in delivering pipeline to the Sales Department by developing marketing leads until they become opportunities.
What Will You Do?
- Own lead management and prospecting activities
- Meet or exceed opportunity/ appointment quota through phone-based prospecting and lead qualification
- Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack and approach
- Qualify interested prospects/leads and arrange sales appointments
- Deliver sales presentation when necessary
- Track all relevant qualification and lead management activity using Salesforce.com (including calls, prospect pipeline, account notes, etc.)
- Quickly learn the technical aspects of the product, effectively communicate the value proposition and be able to react to objections, competitive questions and other FAQ’s
- Provide business acumen for customers and strive to understand the business problem we are solving in order to best configure the solution and exceed customer expectations
- Proactively manage your schedule, leads pipeline and campaigns in order to meet milestones and quarterly objectives
- Collaborate successfully with Inside & Field Sales to optimize team selling productivity
- Provide value added market intelligence to the Sales & Marketing department
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- AA (Marketing/Business preferred) or six (6) months equivalent experience

Your Pay:
The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.$35,350.00 – $65,650.00
Your pay also includes the opportunity for monthly sales incentives. Actual payouts are dependent upon the attainment of agreed to revenue goals and objectives as determined by Cradlepoint’s management team.

Cradlepoint provides generous paid time off, including: 15 days of Flexible Time Off (FTO), four paid quarterly well-being days, and 11 paid annual holidays (includes nine company holidays and up to two floating holidays). Please note that an employee’s FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. Cradlepoint also offers paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
